About

My wife and I

Elmering and sharing is what its all about. As I have grown into digital voice I found the learning never stops. Being an IT person, I have found the world of digital voice is not so different from VOIP used in the computer world. Being able to merge my IT skills with my radio hobby truly is a dream come true. This is why currently, digital voice, is where my deep interest is in the ham radio hobby. As I was learning and researching I said to myself “Why keep the things I learn to myself when its so easy to share with the rest of the community via the internet.” My hope is this site sparks interest in all regions of the world for computer savvy hams to also help. Computers and radios have always had a sort of symbiotic relationship, but now, its getting more heated as the internet and “Cloud” evolve. There are a lot of moving parts when it comes to digital voice and its relatively new to our hobby with hams still diving in for the first time. Simple sites like this one help local ham communities by simply keeping information accessible, up to date, and educational.

I migrated sadigitalradio.com to this domain in mid 2019 to avoid confusion with my personal projects and the San Antonio Digital Radio Club. You can Find the SADRC’s website at: http://www.sadrc.net/. I try to keep everything up to date as often as I can. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, my email is good on QRZ.
